The bank from the future/past on Moreland:

I was too scared to go any further. Here’s what the inside looks like though.

Is that the candle store on Mitchell St. downtown?! Can’t believe it’s still there. We used to go there when I worked on Pryor St. about 20 years ago.

AMAZING pic of the bank skeleton entryway. Chilling!

Yeah, it’s at Mitchell and Broad, I think?

I think its named Rondo. If I recall, the folks that own it are super nice.

Also, you probably need to check out Miller’s Rexall on Broad Street. They have a similar assortment of essential oils, etc.

I’ve always wondered what that building on Moreland looked like on the inside. I used to drive past it all the time when I lived around the corner. Makes you wonder what they were thinking when it was designed.

Hi, where on Moreland exactly is that? I think it might make a cool location for a shoot. Also thanks for adding my blog to your log ladies!

Moreland and Eastland, right before Value Village.

My wife actually worked at the Moreland C&S for a while. It was obsolete before it even opened. That is, it was too small and didn’t work very well as practical matter. A bit worse than the Jetson bank at Monroe at I-85 which had it’s isolated location working against it. There are bunches of modern Atlanta branch banks from that era that work perfectly well today.

Oh, C&S! I wish I still had the choice between banking at Citizens & Southern, or using the new Automated Teller machines at First National Bank — of course, I’d be swayed by those Tillie the All Time Teller ads!
