My mom lives in Midtown and around her house there have been a lot of car break-ins. I mean, even on my street a couple of weeks ago… not sure if related but same two day period as the EAV muggings… the women who lives across the street from me had her car broken into.

I was there that night. They stopped the music in the Flatiron and told everyone that someone to be careful, as a person had been mugged in the parking lot across the street. Kind of weird walking to my car after that, as I was parked down some dark side street. I’m hearing way too much about these kinds of crimes.
