That’s a really great idea to scope that place out post-sunset, because it’s practically a ghost town around that time. I was down there Wednesday night to cover a panel discussion and walked down to the CVS to buy some mints. It was kind of strange to hear a cop say into a bullhorn, “Alright, it’s time to clean ‘em out,” talking about the people who were hanging out in Five Points. And 30 minutes later, even they were all gone.
It’s pretty sad to be the hub of the Southeast and even downtown city life closes down before the 8 o’clock news.
